Dr. Vince Masell currently works as a veterinarian and co-owner at Levan Road Veterinary Hospital in Livonia, MI. He has 28 years of experience in the field of small animal private practice including general medicine, internal medicine, and small animal surgery.
Dr. Masell earned his Bachelor of Science and DVM degrees in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University in East Lansing and graduated in 1988. He initially worked as an associate small animal veterinarian for 6 years before coming to Levan Road Veterinary Hospital in 1994. He enjoys being a veterinarian and co-owner at Levan Road because it allows him to support and improve the human-animal bond, meet people and their pets, and provide compassionate care to some of our best friends. Dr. Masell also treats exotic or "pocket pets".
He maintains active membership in MVMA www.michvma.org, SEVMA www.semvma.com, AVMA www.avma.org, and AAHA www.aahanet.org and especially enjoys continuing education opportunities at the MVC and SEVMA seminar series. He is especially proud of all the work that the staff contributed to become an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in 2009.
Dr. Masell is a native of Southeastern Michigan and grew up in Redford Township and is a proud graduate of Redford Union in 1981. He now lives in Farmington Hills with his wife Laura, son and daughter, cat, Licorice and dog Shadow. When Dr. Masell is not working, he likes to be outdoors—fishing, golfing and woodworking.
